Making 2 Ingredient Nutella
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast them for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
Let the hazelnuts cool slightly. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and rub together to remove most of the skins.
Transfer the peeled hazelnuts to your food processor. Process on high speed for about 5-7 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth hazelnut butter forms.
Add the chocolate chips to the food processor and continue blending until the chocolate is fully melted and incorporated into the hazelnut butter.
Taste your Nutella. If you prefer it sweeter, add maple syrup or honey, and a splash of vanilla extract if desired. Blend again until combined.
Transfer the Nutella to a glass jar or airtight container. Allow it to cool completely before sealing. Store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
- Roasting hazelnuts enhances flavor and helps with blending.
- Stop processing once the Nutella is creamy to avoid a greasy texture.
- Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best taste.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep fresh for about a month.
- If hardened, let it sit at room temperature or warm slightly before using.
