Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Measuring Cups
  • 8x8-inch baking pan
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bananas, very ripe mashed (about 4 large)
  • 1 cup peanut butter natural, extra-crunchy
  • 1 cup dark chocolate protein powder clean/dark; recommended: Tera's Whey
  • 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips Enjoy Life brand recommended
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans optional, diced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly oil or line an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the mashed bananas and peanut butter. Beat with an electric mixer or whisk just until combined and smooth.
  • Stir in the dark chocolate protein powder until fully incorporated, then fold in the mini chocolate chips (and diced nuts if using).
  • Pour the batter into the prepared 8x8 pan and spread into an even layer with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until set around the edges and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing; dip a butter knife in water and wipe between slices to get clean cuts.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness and texture.
  • Natural, no-stir peanut butter works well for consistency.
  • Adjust bake time slightly for fudgier or firmer brownies.
  • Optional nuts add crunch if desired.
