- 2 tablespoons butter for sautéing garlic and brushing on rolls
- 2 cloves garlic finely minced
- 0.5 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tube crescent rolls 8-count
- 0.75 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.25 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing on top
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Start by melting 2 tablespoons of butter in a small frying pan over medium heat. Add the finely minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic! Once done, remove from heat and stir in the dried Italian seasoning.
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) while the garlic butter is cooling slightly.
Open the tube of crescent rolls and carefully unroll the dough onto a clean surface. Separate it into individual triangles.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed garlic butter mixture with the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
Take a spoonful of the cheesy filling and place it at the wider end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough tightly around the filling, starting from the wider end and tucking the point underneath.
Brush the tops of the filled rolls with melted butter to give them a beautiful golden color during cooking.
Place the rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Cook in batches if necessary.
Carefully remove the rolls from the air fryer and place them on a serving platter. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for color and flavor. Serve warm and enjoy!
- Keep an eye on the garlic while sautéing to prevent it from burning.
- Roll the crescent dough tightly around the filling to avoid cheese oozing out.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary for even cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and reheat in the air fryer for crispiness.
- You can freeze uncooked filled rolls on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer bag; cook from frozen, adding extra time.
