Cutting Board

Spatula
- 1 large russet potato very thinly sliced (about 1/16 of an inch)
- 1 spray grapeseed oil cooking spray or any high-heat oil spray (avoid olive oil)
- 1 pinch sea salt
Step 1: Prepare the Potato
Start by washing the russet potato under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat it dry with a clean towel. Using a sharp knife or a mandoline, slice the potato very thinly, aiming for about 1/16 of an inch. The thinner the slices, the crispier your chips will be!
Step 2: Season the Slices
Step 3: Preheat the Air Fryer
Step 5: Air Fry the Chips
Air fry the potato slices for about 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning, as cooking times may vary based on your air fryer model.
- Slice potatoes as evenly and thinly as possible for a perfect crunch; a mandoline works best.
- Watch the chips closely near the end of cooking to prevent burning.
- Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for longer storage.
- Reheat chips in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes to restore crispness.
