  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix about 1 ounce, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped, optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This temperature will help the chicken cook evenly, creating a crispy outer crust without drying out the inside.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This step is important to help the seasoning stick better and to achieve a nice crust.
  • In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
  • Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil. Then, sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken, pressing gently so it adheres well.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is no longer pink inside.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring each bite is juicy and tender. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve with your favorite sides.

Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature to avoid overcooking. Customize your seasoning by adding cayenne or chili powder for heat. Make your own ranch seasoning for a fresher, dairy-free option. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days and reheated covered with foil at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
