Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts

Creamy Sauce

  • 1 cup half and half single cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup sundried tomatoes, diced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Step 2: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3: (Optional) Sear the chicken in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Step 4: In a mixing bowl, combine half and half cream, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, cornstarch, dried oregano, dried thyme, and smoked paprika. Whisk until smooth.
  • Step 5: Place the chicken in a baking dish, pour the creamy sauce over it, and sprinkle with sundried tomatoes and parmesan cheese.
  • Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
  • Step 7: Let the dish sit for a couple of minutes before serving warm with the creamy sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh spinach or kale to the sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed before pouring over the chicken.
