Melt 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) of salted butter in a large mixing bowl.
Add 2 cups of creamy peanut butter, 3/4 cup light brown sugar, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar to the melted butter. Mix until smooth.
Add 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in 1 tablespoon vanilla extract until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
