Step 2: Add Ingredients to Bread Machine. Add the warmed water, olive oil, and brown sugar or molasses to the bread machine pan. Layer in the rye flour and all-purpose flour, then add salt, caraway seeds, and sprinkle the instant yeast on top.
Step 3: Set Your Bread Machine. Close the lid, select the whole wheat or rye bread setting, and start the machine.
Step 4: Let the Bread Cool. Once baked, remove the pan and let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Ensure your yeast is fresh for best results. For a denser bread, reduce the all-purpose flour and increase the rye flour.
