Instructions

Cheese Ball Recipe Cooking Guide

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the room temperature cream cheese, shredded white sharp cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, sliced green onions, and hot sauce. Use a hand mixer on low speed or mix by hand until everything is well combined and creamy.
  • Once the mixture is smooth, use a spatula to transfer it onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Gather the corners of the wrap and shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Twist the wrap to secure it tightly and place the cheese ball in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • After the cheese ball has chilled, remove it from the refrigerator. Carefully unwrap it and roll the cheese ball in the finely chopped pecans until it is fully coated.
  • Place the cheese ball on a serving platter and serve it with your choice of crackers, cut-up vegetables, or baguette slices. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make the cheese ball at least 2 hours ahead for best texture.
  • Substitute pecans with walnuts, almonds, or sunflower seeds if desired.
  • Store wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
