Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup gluten-free graham cracker crumbs finely ground
  • 0.5 cup butter melted, salted or unsalted
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans choose preferred nut
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 1 can

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of gluten-free graham cracker crumbs with ½ cup of melted butter and ½ teaspoon salt. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture holds together when pressed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your 9x13 inch baking pan to create an even crust.

Step 2: Layer the Coconut

  • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded sweetened coconut evenly over the crust, distributing it in a thin, consistent layer.

Step 3: Add the Chocolate Chips

  • Next, scatter 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips over the coconut layer. This ensures every bite gets that melty chocolate goodness.

Step 4: Add the Butterscotch Chips

  • Now sprinkle 1 cup of butterscotch chips over the chocolate chips. The butterscotch chips will add a lovely, buttery sweetness and a touch of chewiness.

Step 5: Add the Nuts

  • Evenly distribute 1 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans on top. Choose whichever nut you prefer or have on hand for a satisfying crunch.

Step 6: Pour the Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • Carefully pour the entire 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk over the layered ingredients, spreading it gently to cover the layers evenly without disturbing them.

Step 7: Bake and Cool

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but still chewy. Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack before cutting into bars.
