Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Spatula
  • Microwave-safe Bowl

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 10 oz vanilla Greek yogurt (280 g)
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream (45 ml)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder (22 g)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (37 g)
  • ¼ cup dark or semisweet chocolate chips (43 g)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (5 ml)
  • ¼ cup toffee bits (40 g)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients. Before you dive into making your yogurt bark, gather all your ingredients. It will make the process much smoother and more enjoyable. You can also line a baking sheet with parchment paper to make it easier to remove your bark later.
  • Step 2: Mix the Yogurt Mixture. In a large bowl, combine the vanilla Greek yogurt, heavy cream, cocoa powder, and granulated sugar. Use a whisk or spatula to mix it together until it’s smooth and thoroughly combined.
  • Step 3: Spread the Yogurt Mixture on the Baking Sheet. Pour the chocolate yogurt mixture onto the lined baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the surface, aiming for about ½ inch thickness.
  • Step 4: Add Chocolate Chips and Toffee Bits. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and toffee bits over the top of the yogurt mixture. Press them lightly into the mixture so they don’t fall off when you cut it later.
  • Step 5: Freeze the Bark. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow it to freeze for at least 4 hours or until it is completely firm.
  • Step 6: Melt the Coconut Oil and Chocolate Chips. While your bark is freezing, melt the coconut oil and remaining chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • Step 7: Drizzle the Chocolate Mixture. Once your bark is fully frozen, remove it from the freezer. Drizzle the melted chocolate mixture over the top.
  • Step 8: Cut and Serve. Remove the bark from the baking sheet by lifting the parchment paper. Cut it into squares or break it into pieces. Serve immediately or store it properly for later.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a dash of vanilla extract to the yogurt mixture. If you prefer a sweeter bark, adjust the sugar according to your taste.
