Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground ginger

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Light brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 large Eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Orange extract

Add-ins

  • 6 oz Chopped white chocolate or white chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup Dried cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and ground ginger.
  • Step 3: In another bowl, combine the melted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth, then add the eggs, vanilla extract, and orange extract, whisking until blended.
  • Step 4: Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Step 5: Fold in the chopped white chocolate and dried cranberries.
  • Step 6: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 7: Let the bars cool in the pan on a wire rack, then lift out using parchment paper and slice into squares or bars.

Notes

Store the bars in an airtight container to keep them fresh and moist. They can last up to a week at room temperature.
