Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Electric Mixer
  • Spatula
  • 9x13 Inch Dish
  • Whisk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts
  • 1 package graham crackers 9x13 inches
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk to beat them together until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and continue mixing until fully incorporated.

Whip the Heavy Cream

  • In a separate chilled bowl, pour the heavy cream and whip it until stiff peaks form.

Fold the Mixtures Together

  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula. Be careful not to overmix to preserve the fluffy texture.

Assemble the Layers

  • Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture evenly over the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish. Arrange a layer of whole graham crackers on top, covering the cream layer completely.
  • Sprinkle half of the chopped nuts over the graham crackers, then dust with one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder. Follow this by layering half of the chocolate chips on top.
  • Repeat these layers: spread another layer of the cream mixture, then graham crackers, remaining nuts, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.

Chill and Set

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Once chilled, slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth mixture.
  • Whip heavy cream just until stiff peaks form to avoid grainy texture.
  • Fold whipped cream gently to preserve fluffiness.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow layers to set properly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
