- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs blend of basil, oregano, thyme, and rosemary

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the 12 oz cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes, until tender but still firm. Drain and set aside. Save a small cup of pasta water for the sauce if needed.
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté gently for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden but not browned.
Pour in 1 cup heavy cream to the skillet with garlic. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Add 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Let the cream reduce slightly for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn heat to low and gradually stir in 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Stir gently until cheese melts fully and sauce thickens. Add reserved pasta water if sauce is too thick.
Add cooked tortellini to the skillet with sauce. Toss carefully to coat each piece. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley over the top. Serve immediately.
