Crispy Air Fryer Gnocchi

Golden, crisp gnocchi made quickly in the air fryer for a crunchy outside and tender inside.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the gnocchi, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and grated Parmesan; toss until the gnocchi are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the coated gnocchi to the air fryer basket in a single even layer (work in batches if needed).
  • Air fry for 13–15 minutes, shaking the basket 3–4 times during cooking so the gnocchi crisp evenly.
  • Remove when the gnocchi are golden and crispy; garnish as desired and serve with marinara on the side.

Notes

  • Avocado oil can be used instead of olive oil for a richer flavor.
  • If using Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi, skip their package directions and follow this method.
  • The air fryer yields the crispiest texture compared with pan-frying or baking.
  • This recipe is flexible—swap or add seasonings to taste.
