Ingredients
  

  • 4 to 5 pounds bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s ready for the chicken thighs.
  • In a mixing bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This will help achieve that crispy skin. Place the thighs in your baking dish, skin-side up.
  • Using a cooking brush, generously apply the garlic butter mixture over each chicken thigh. Make sure to coat them well for maximum flavor.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring each bite is tender and juicy.
