Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels to help the breading stick better.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: mix flour, salt, and pepper in the first; olive oil or melted butter, minced garlic, dried basil, and paprika in the second; Panko breadcrumbs and freshly grated Parmesan cheese in the third bowl.
  • Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip into the garlic oil mixture, letting excess drip off, and finally press into the Panko and Parmesan mixture to coat generously.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure a crispy texture.
  • Arrange the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding; cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the cooked chicken tenders from the air fryer, let them rest for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy.

  • For maximum crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
  • You can substitute chicken breasts cut into strips if tenders are unavailable.
