  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Chai Spice Mixture (use half)

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • a pinch salt

Instructions
 

Making the Dark Chocolate Cherry Chai Smoothie

  • Gather all your ingredients including frozen dark cherries, Greek yogurt, milk, and the chai spices for a smooth blending process.
  • In your blender, combine the frozen dark cherries, Greek yogurt, cashew milk, ice, hemp hearts, almond butter, Dutch process cocoa powder, vanilla extract, half the chai spice mixture, and a pinch of salt.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed to ensure everything is well incorporated.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if desired by adding honey or maple syrup, then blend again.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of hemp hearts, a few frozen cherries, and chocolate curls for extra indulgence.
