3
lb
chicken leg quarters with skin
about 4 leg quarters
4
clove
garlic
minced
1/4
cup
honey
2
tablespoon
dark soy sauce
1
tablespoon
white vinegar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish or sheet with aluminum foil if desired and set aside.
Arrange the chicken leg quarters in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, honey, dark soy sauce, and white vinegar until well combined.
Pour the honey-garlic mixture evenly over the chicken, using tongs or a spoon to coat each piece.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the skin is caramelized and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 165°F (74°C).
If you prefer extra-crispy, place the chicken under the broiler for 3–5 minutes, watching closely so it doesn't burn.
Notes
Use foil for easier cleanup.
Check internal temperature to ensure chicken is cooked through.
Broil briefly for extra crispy skin.
