Flower Hummus Platter

A decorative hummus platter shaped into petals and garnished with crumbled feta, cherry tomatoes or olives, parsley, olive oil, and basil. Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies.

  • 16 ozroasted red pepper hummusor your favorite flavor
  • 2 tbspcrumbled feta cheesedivided
  • 4 cherry tomatoesor olives
  • 1/2 tspparsleychopped fresh
  • 1 tbspextra virgin olive oil
  • 3 basil leavesfresh for garnish
  • 3 cupsPita chips or fresh veggiesfor serving

Instructions

  • Place a large dinner-size plate on a flat surface and scoop 16 oz roasted red pepper hummus into the center, forming a small mound.
  • Using the back of a spoon, gently press and spread the hummus outward in curved strokes to create “petals,” keeping the center slightly thicker than the edges.
  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp crumbled feta cheese into the center of the hummus mound.
  • Place 4 cherry tomatoes or olives in a small cluster on top of the feta in the center.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1 tbsp crumbled feta cheese over the tomatoes/olives and lightly over the adjacent hummus.
  • Lightly sprinkle ½ tsp chopped fresh parsley over the hummus for color.
  • Drizzle 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil evenly over the petal area of the hummus.
  • Tuck 3 fresh basil leaves around the outer edges of the plate as garnish.
  • Arrange 3 cups pita chips or fresh veggies around the hummus platter for serving.

To Serve: Surround your hummus flower with pita chips, sliced cucumbers, carrots, or bell pepper strips. Dig in and enjoy the prettiest bite of spring!
