Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Rolling Pin
  • Knife or pizza cutter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces Provolone cheese sliced
  • 16 ounces fresh pizza dough
  • 1/3 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This ensures the dunkers will bake to a golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, shredded Asiago, grated Parmesan, and sliced Provolone. Mix until well combined, ensuring that all the cheeses are evenly distributed.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the fresh pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick. This will be the base for your dunkers.
  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly across one half of the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Carefully fold the other half of the dough over the cheese filling. Gently press down to seal the edges. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for extra security and a decorative touch.
  • Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice the dough into strips or squares, depending on your preference. Make sure not to cut all the way through; you want the bottom to remain intact for easy dunking.
  • Transfer the sliced dunkers to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Once baked, remove the Four Cheese Pizza Dunkers from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy the gooey, cheesy goodness!
