  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Eggo Waffles thawed
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and ground cinnamon until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  • Place the soaked waffle in the preheated waffle iron. Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Repeat soaking and cooking with remaining waffles, spraying the waffle iron as needed.
  • Serve the French Toast Waffles warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use whole grain or gluten-free waffles for a healthier alternative.
  • Substitute almond milk or plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Prepare the egg mixture the night before to save time in the morning.
  • Leftover waffles can be refrigerated up to 3 days or frozen up to 2 months.
  • Reheat leftovers in a toaster or toaster oven for best texture.
