Knife
- 2 cups Greek yogurt plain or vanilla-flavored
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup adds natural sweetness
- 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts almonds, walnuts, or pistachios
Wash the berries thoroughly and pat them dry. Slice strawberries thinly. Roughly chop the nuts as preferred.
In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup. Stir until fully incorporated and adjust sweetness if desired.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the sweetened yogurt evenly into a thin layer about 1/4 inch thick.
Evenly sprinkle the mixed berries over the yogurt layer, gently pressing them in. Scatter the chopped nuts on top.
Freeze the baking sheet for at least 3-4 hours, preferably overnight, until the yogurt bark is completely firm.
Remove the frozen yogurt bark from the freezer, peel off the parchment paper, and break into bite-sized pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
- Use plain Greek yogurt to avoid excess sweetness and keep the flavor balanced.
- Dry berries thoroughly to prevent sogginess and icy texture in the bark.
- Store broken bark pieces in an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent freezer burn.
