- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Step 2: Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat. Stir in 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If sauce is too thick, stir in reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

- Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency perfectly.
- Use fresh parsley for the best garnish and flavor, or substitute with basil or chives.
- Substitute gluten-free pasta to make the dish gluten-free.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
