Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and position a rack in the center.
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment if desired for easier cleanup and place the frozen chicken nuggets on the sheet.
In a large bowl or on the baking sheet, combine the vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and ground black pepper.
Add the frozen chicken nuggets to the bowl or pour the oil-and-spice mixture over the nuggets on the baking sheet.
Toss or gently shake the nuggets until each piece is coated evenly with the oil and spices.
Arrange the nuggets in a single layer with space between pieces so hot air can circulate for crisping.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning once halfway through if desired, until the nuggets are golden brown and crisp.
Remove from the oven and serve hot with your choice of dips or sauces.
