Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (16-ounce) refried beans
  • 1/2 package taco seasoning
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 1 container (18-ounce) sour cream
  • 2 cups salsa or pico de gallo
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 bunch green onions sliced
  • 1 can (2.25-ounce) sliced olives drained
  • 9 ounce plastic tumblers for serving individual portions
  • tortilla chips for dipping
  • cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the refried beans with the taco seasoning. Mix well until the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the beans.
  • Take your 9-ounce plastic tumblers and start layering the ingredients. Begin by adding a generous scoop of the seasoned refried beans to the bottom of each tumbler.
  • Next, layer about 1/4 cup of guacamole on top of the beans. Use a spatula to spread it evenly for a beautiful presentation.
  • Add a layer of sour cream, about 1/4 cup per tumbler. Smooth it down gently, creating a lovely contrast with the green guacamole.
  • Now, spoon in 1/4 cup of salsa or pico de gallo over the sour cream. The freshness will elevate the flavors of the dip.
  • Generously sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the salsa layer. Let it melt in your mouth with each bite.
  • Top with diced tomatoes and sliced green onions, dividing them evenly among the tumblers. These ingredients add color and crunch.
  • Finally, add a few sliced olives on top of each serving for that briny flavor that complements the other layers.
  • If desired, garnish with fresh cilantro for an extra pop of color and flavor. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy your Individual Seven Layer Dip!
