- 1 cup quinoa rinsed
- 1 cup water
- salt optional, to taste
Rinse the quinoa under cold water using a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear to remove bitterness.
Transfer the rinsed quinoa to the Instant Pot. Add 1 cup of water (or broth) and salt if desired.
Secure the lid and set the valve to "Sealing." Select "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" on high pressure for 1 minute.
Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for about 10 minutes after cooking.
Carefully release any remaining pressure by turning the valve to "Venting." Open the lid and fluff the quinoa with a fork before serving.
