Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounce cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup Kahlua
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • cut fruit and/or shortbread or ginger cookies for serving and dipping

Instructions
 

  • Start by ensuring that your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier blending and a smooth texture.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and brown sugar. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat until creamy and well combined.
  • Add the sour cream and Kahlua to the bowl. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
  • Gently fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula to maintain the airy texture.
  • Stir in the chopped pecans evenly throughout the dip.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld. Serve with cut fruit, shortbread, or ginger cookies.

Notes

  • Substitute pecans with walnuts or almonds for different nutty flavors.
  • Increase Kahlua for a stronger coffee flavor if desired.
  • Add cocoa powder or chocolate shavings on top for a festive touch.
