  • 1.5 cups unsweetened chocolate rich chocolate flavor without the sugar
  • 1 cup almond butter creamy texture and healthy fats; can substitute with any nut or seed butter
  • 0.5 cup keto maple syrup sugar-free alternative that adds sweetness without the carbs
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil adds richness and helps with texture (optional)
  • 3 cups nuts and seeds a crunchy mix that adds texture and nutrition (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by melting the unsweetened chocolate using a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals if microwaving, stirring until completely melted.
  • Remove the melted chocolate from heat and stir in the almond butter until well combined and smooth. Add coconut oil here if using.
  • Pour in the keto maple syrup and mix thoroughly until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
  • Fold in your favorite nuts and seeds if desired, mixing evenly into the chocolate mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture into a parchment-lined 9x9 inch baking pan, spreading evenly. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
  • Once set, remove from the pan and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep fresh.

Notes

  • Use any nut or seed butter as a substitute for almond butter to suit your taste or dietary needs.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more keto maple syrup or a non-sugar sweetener before setting.
  • Store bars in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for longer storage, separating layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
