Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour This provides the base and gives the bread its nutty flavor.
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder Helps the flatbread rise slightly and gives it a fluffy texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Adds flavor and depth to the flatbread.
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded; adds cheesy richness that binds the ingredients together.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cream cheese Adds creaminess and enhances the overall texture of the flatbread.
  • 2 large eggs beaten; act as a binder and give the flatbread its structure.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even baking and a perfect golden-brown color.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and garlic powder. Mix well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 30-60 seconds until melted, then stir until smooth.
  • Add the beaten eggs to the dry ingredients, followed by the melted cheese mixture. Stir until a dough forms. Add more almond flour if dough is too sticky.
  • Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Transfer dough onto it and spread into a thin, even layer about 1/4 inch thick using a spatula or your hands.
  • Bake the flatbread in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and flatbread is firm to touch. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Cut into desired shapes and sizes. Serve and enjoy your Keto Flatbread!

Notes

  • For a crispier flatbread, bake longer but watch carefully to avoid burning.
  • If dough is too sticky, gradually add more almond flour until manageable.
  • Try different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for unique flavors.
  • Allow flatbread to cool completely before storing to maintain texture.
  • Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
