Instructions
Roughly chop the green onions and parsley if not using a food processor.
Place the walnuts, green onions, and parsley in a food processor and pulse a few seconds until finely chopped; alternatively, finely chop by hand.
Add the drained tuna, cream cheese, and mayonnaise or Greek yogurt to the processor and blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed; if mixing by hand, mash together until combined.
Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper to taste, then blend or stir briefly to incorporate and adjust consistency if needed.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with crackers or sourdough bread.
Notes
Use well-drained tuna to avoid a watery spread.
Swap mayonnaise for Greek yogurt for a tangier, lighter version.
