No Bake Brownies: How It’s Done
Line your 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond butter and maple syrup. Mix until smooth and creamy using a spatula or wooden spoon.
Gradually sift in the cocoa powder, stirring continuously until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is thick and fudgy.
Transfer the brownie mixture into your prepared baking pan. Spread it evenly and press down firmly to create a smooth top.
Place the pan in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to help the brownies firm up and set.
Remove the brownies from the refrigerator and spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the top.
Lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve chilled or at room temperature.
- Store brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Freeze individual brownies wrapped in plastic wrap for up to three months.
- Add seasonal flavors like orange zest, fresh berries, pumpkin spice, or crushed peppermint for variety.
