Ingredients
  

  • 90 grams cooked and peeled beetroot
  • 250 milliliters orange juice freshly squeezed or store-bought
  • 1 lemon juice of
  • 15 grams honey adjust to taste
  • 1 sprig mint for garnish
  • 1 slice orange to decorate glass

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients together on the counter. Make sure the beetroot is cooked and peeled, and have your juices ready.
  • In your blender, combine the cooked beetroot, orange juice, lemon juice, honey, and ice cubes.
  • Blend on high until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more of orange juice to loosen it.
  • Give the smoothie a taste. If you prefer it sweeter, feel free to add a bit more honey and blend again.
  • Pour the smoothie into your glass, and garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of orange on the rim for a beautiful presentation.

Notes

  • Use cooked beetroot for a smoother texture and easier blending.
  • Adjust honey according to your preferred sweetness level or substitute with agave syrup for a vegan option.
  • Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and shake well before drinking.
