- 1 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 cups chopped chocolate
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter for the chocolate drizzle
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts chopped
Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the bars once set.
In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and creamy peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
Gradually add powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until smooth and cohesive.
Pour the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread evenly and press down firmly to create a solid base.
Melt the chopped chocolate with 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter in a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl. Stir until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts over the chocolate layer, pressing down slightly for better hold.
Refrigerate the pan for at least 2 hours until bars are firm and set.
Remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
- Swap creamy peanut butter for almond or cashew butter for a different flavor.
- Use honey or maple syrup instead of powdered sugar for a less sweet option.
- Try dark or white chocolate instead of milk chocolate for variety.
- Add mini chocolate chips, dried fruits, or coconut flakes to the base for extra texture.
- Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge up to one week or freeze up to three months.
