Equipment

  • Mixing Bowls
  • 9x13 inch baking pan
  • Spatula
  • Double boiler or microwave-safe bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped chocolate
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter for the chocolate drizzle
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts chopped

Instructions

  • Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the bars once set.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and creamy peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until smooth and cohesive.
  • Pour the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread evenly and press down firmly to create a solid base.
  • Melt the chopped chocolate with 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter in a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts over the chocolate layer, pressing down slightly for better hold.
  • Refrigerate the pan for at least 2 hours until bars are firm and set.
  • Remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes

  • Swap creamy peanut butter for almond or cashew butter for a different flavor.
  • Use honey or maple syrup instead of powdered sugar for a less sweet option.
  • Try dark or white chocolate instead of milk chocolate for variety.
  • Add mini chocolate chips, dried fruits, or coconut flakes to the base for extra texture.
  • Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge up to one week or freeze up to three months.
