Equipment

  • Espresso machine or coffee maker
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Blender or whisk
  • Glass
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ounces peanut butter syrup (or more to taste)
  • 2 shots freshly brewed espresso
  • 6 to 8 ounces milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

Prepare the Peanut Butter Syrup

  • In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.

Brew the Espresso

  • Brew two shots of freshly brewed espresso using your espresso machine or coffee maker. If you don’t have espresso, a strong brewed coffee can work as a substitute.

Assemble the Latte

  • In a tall glass, add ice cubes to fill it halfway. Pour the cooled peanut butter syrup over the ice, followed by the brewed espresso. Top with your choice of milk, adjusting the amount based on your preferred creaminess.

Mix and Enjoy

  • Stir the mixture gently to combine all the flavors. You can add extra peanut butter syrup if you like a sweeter drink. Sip your Peanut Butter Iced Latte and enjoy the creamy, nutty goodness!

Notes

  • Prepare the peanut butter syrup ahead and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Use non-dairy milk options like almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Add protein powder or cocoa powder for extra nutrition or flavor variations.
