Instructions

Prepare the Cream Cheese

  • Take 8 oz of full-fat cream cheese out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.

Mix Ingredients

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning, ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp sugar, and 1 tsp olive oil. Mix with a spatula until smooth and creamy.

Smoke the Cream Cheese

  • Preheat your pellet grill to 225°F (about 107°C).
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture into a small cast-iron skillet or heat-safe dish.
  • Place the dish on the preheated pellet grill and smoke for 60 to 90 minutes until the cream cheese is soft and slightly caramelized on top.
  • Remove from the grill and let cool for a few minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Serve and Garnish

  • Transfer the smoked cream cheese to a serving platter and garnish with optional toppings like fresh herbs, diced jalapenos, sesame seeds, or a drizzle of honey.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest texture and best flavor.
  • Be patient with the smoking process to achieve a deep, smoky taste without drying out the cream cheese.
  • Customize your toppings with herbs, spices, or sweeteners to suit your taste preferences.
