  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 large Eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ¾ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare your Pizzelle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.
  • Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Step 5: Spray or lightly grease the preheated Pizzelle iron. Drop a tablespoon of batter in the center of each section. Close the iron and cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until lightly golden.
  • Step 6: Carefully open the iron and remove the cookies. Place them on a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Step 7: Serve and enjoy! Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them layered between parchment paper.
