  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Gather and measure all your ingredients.
  • Step 2: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the raspberries, granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, and water. Stir gently to combine.
  • Step 3: Place the saucepan over medium heat and allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally for about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Step 4: Once the raspberries have softened, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the pure vanilla extract.
  • Step 5: Allow the compote to cool for a few minutes before transferring it to a jar or container. Serve warm or chill in the refrigerator.

Notes

For a smoother texture, blend the compote with an immersion blender after it has cooled slightly. Adjust sweetness to taste and simmer longer for a thicker consistency.
