Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe pineapple peeled and chopped
  • 1 inch fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup optional
  • 1 lime juice of
  • ice cubes
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Start by peeling and chopping your ripe pineapple into manageable chunks. Remove the core if you prefer a smoother texture.
  • Peel a fresh piece of ginger about an inch long. Grate it finely to release its spicy and aromatic oils.
  • Add the chopped pineapple, grated ginger, and 2 cups of cold water into a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and well combined. Add more water if a thinner consistency is desired.
  • Taste your juice and decide if you want to add sweetness. Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup if desired. Then, squeeze the juice of one lime into the mixture and mix well.
  • Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if you prefer it pulp-free. Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • Use ripe pineapple for natural sweetness and best flavor.
  • Adjust ginger amount to control spiciness to your preference.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24-48 hours.
