Instructions

From Start to Finish: Russian Dressing

  • Start by assembling all your ingredients on the countertop to ensure nothing is forgotten.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and chili sauce. Use a whisk or spoon to blend until fully incorporated.
  • Stir in the sour cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add horseradish sauce, Worcestershire sauce, grated onion, chopped parsley, minced dill pickles, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined.
  • Taste the dressing and season with a pinch of Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Adjust to your preference.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld beautifully.
  • Once chilled, serve your Russian Dressing over salads, as a sandwich spread, or as a dip for veggies. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Store dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week; flavors improve over time.
  • Use vegan mayonnaise and gluten-free Worcestershire sauce for allergy-friendly alternatives.
  • Substitute sour cream with plain yogurt for a lighter version.
  • Avoid overmixing to maintain a nice texture.
  • Always start with a pinch of salt to avoid overpowering flavors.
