Large Skillet
Tongs or spatula
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 ounces fresh green beans
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- freshly ground pepper to taste
Trim the stem ends from the green beans if desired.
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the green beans to the skillet and season with 1 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Sauté the beans, stirring occasionally, for about 7–9 minutes or until they are tender and cooked through.
Serve immediately.
- Trim green bean ends for a neater presentation.
- Cook until beans are tender but still slightly crisp if preferred.
- Adjust garlic salt to control sodium level.
