Sauteed Green Beans

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 ounces fresh green beans
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Trim the stem ends from the green beans if desired.
  • Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the green beans to the skillet and season with 1 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and freshly ground pepper to taste.
  • Sauté the beans, stirring occasionally, for about 7–9 minutes or until they are tender and cooked through.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Trim green bean ends for a neater presentation.
  • Cook until beans are tender but still slightly crisp if preferred.
  • Adjust garlic salt to control sodium level.
