- 2 stalks celery diced
- 1/2 cup green onions chopped
- 1 cup fresh cooked shrimp chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 3 squirts ketchup
- 2 blocks cream cheese room temperature/softened
- seasoning salt to taste
Start by gathering all your ingredients. Dice the celery and chop the green onions. Make sure your shrimp is cooked and chopped into bite-sized pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, place the softened cream cheese. Using a spatula, mix until it becomes creamy and smooth.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, heavy whipping cream, and ketchup to the cream cheese. Mix well until fully combined and homogeneous.
Gently fold in the diced celery, chopped green onions, and cooked shrimp. Be careful not to over-mix to keep the shrimp intact.
Sprinkle seasoning salt over the mixture. Adjust according to your preference.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to a serving dish. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
Once chilled, serve your Shrimp and Cream Cheese Dip with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies. Enjoy!
- For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce or diced jalapeños.
- This dip can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Substitute shrimp with cooked crab meat or diced cooked chicken if preferred.
- Try adding fresh herbs like dill or parsley for added flavor.
