Instructions
Step 1: Rinse chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place in a large bowl.
Step 2: Sprinkle kosher salt, half of the garlic powder, ground black pepper, and paprika over the wings. Toss to coat.
Step 3: Grease the bottom of the slow cooker and place the seasoned wings inside.
Step 4: In a medium bowl, mix barbecue sauce, remaining garlic powder, hot sauce, and honey.
Step 5: Pour the sauce over the wings, ensuring they are evenly coated. Lid the slow cooker tightly.
Step 6: Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
Step 7: Serve directly from the slow cooker or broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes for crispy skin. Garnish with green onions.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, broil them in the oven after cooking. Adjust hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
