Equipment

  • Pot
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Steaks

  • 2 steaks Ribeye, Sirloin, or NY strip 6-8 ounces each

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground black pepper

Cooking Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 8 ounces Pasta Fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ¾ cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley Chopped

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Steaks - Start by bringing your steaks to room temperature. Pat them dry with paper towels, then season both sides with kosher salt and ground black pepper.
  • Step 2: Cook the Steaks - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks to the pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  • Step 3: Flip and Finish Cooking - Flip the steaks and add the butter to the skillet. Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust based on your desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  • Step 4: Cook the Pasta - In the same skillet, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook your chosen pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.
  • Step 5: Make the Alfredo Sauce - In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
  • Step 6: Combine Pasta and Sauce - Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the noodles evenly.
  • Step 7: Slice the Steaks - Slice the rested steaks against the grain into thin strips.
  • Step 8: Serve - Divide the creamy pasta among plates and top with slices of steak. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Allow the steaks to rest after cooking to keep them juicy. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor. If you like extra garlic flavor, feel free to add more minced garlic.
