water
filtered or tap
1
cup
allulose
granulated or powdered
1/8
teaspoon
xanthan gum
to stabilize and thicken syrup
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of allulose.
Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture until the allulose dissolves completely, about a few minutes.
Once dissolved, sprinkle in 1/8 teaspoon of xanthan gum while whisking vigorously to thicken the syrup.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature; it will thicken slightly as it cools.
Pour the cooled syrup into a clean storage bottle or jar, seal, and store in the refrigerator up to one month.
Notes
Adjust thickness by adding more water if syrup is too thick.
Increase allulose gradually if syrup is not sweet enough.
Shake the bottle gently before use if separation occurs.
