Begin by gathering all your ingredients.
In a mixing bowl, combine the hemp hearts, chia seeds, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, and cacao powder. Stir until well mixed.
In another bowl, mix together the almond butter, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients. Use a spatula to combine everything thoroughly until all the dry ingredients are coated.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
Once chilled, remove the mixture from the refrigerator. Use your hands to form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
Place the tray back in the refrigerator and let the bites chill for at least another 30 minutes to firm up.
