Ingredients
  

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • as needed cooking spray or vegetable oil for coating tortillas
  • optional chili powder for sprinkling on tortillas

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lay out your corn tortillas on a clean, flat surface and sprinkle chili powder on each side if desired.
  • Lightly coat both sides of each tortilla with cooking spray or vegetable oil using a brush or spray bottle.
  • Place the coated tortillas on a baking sheet, draping them over the edges or using an oven-safe rack to create a taco shell shape.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Remove from oven and let the taco shells cool for a few minutes to firm up before filling and serving.
