  • 2 teaspoonolive oilor canola avocado, or grapeseed oil
  • 1 teaspoonseasoning saltCajun Tajin, Adobo, Old Bay, Montreal

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place 16 ounces frozen tater tots in a mixing bowl.
  • Drizzle 2 teaspoons olive oil (or canola, avocado, or grapeseed oil) over the tater tots and toss until they are evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (Cajun, Tajin, Adobo, Old Bay, or Montreal) over the tater tots and toss again to distribute the seasoning.
  • Spread the seasoned tater tots in a single, even layer in the air fryer basket—avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 6 minutes.
  • Gently shake the basket or turn the tater tots with tongs, then air fry an additional 3 to 5 minutes, checking at 3 minutes, until they are golden and crispy.
  • Remove the tater tots from the air fryer and serve warm.
