Equipment

  • Large frying pan or skillet
  • Cutting Board
  • Sharp Knife
  • Measuring Cups
  • Serving platter

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless chicken breast or thighs
  • 8 large burrito-size flour tortillas
  • 16 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 4 ounces alfalfa sprouts
  • 2 plum tomatoes
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • Lemon pepper seasoning
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Start by seasoning the chicken breasts or thighs with lemon pepper seasoning and a pinch of salt. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • While the chicken is resting, wash and dry the romaine lettuce leaves, alfalfa sprouts, and plum tomatoes. Slice the tomatoes and avocado into thin slices.
  • Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Start with a layer of romaine lettuce, followed by sliced chicken, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, avocado slices, and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with Caesar dressing for added flavor.
  • Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top. Make sure all the fillings are securely tucked inside. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  • Cut the wraps in half for easier handling and serve them on a platter. You can also serve extra Caesar dressing on the side for dipping if you like!

Notes

  • Don’t overcook the chicken to keep it juicy and flavorful.
  • Use fresh tortillas to ensure wraps hold together well.
  • Let the chicken rest before slicing to retain juices.
  • Customize the wraps with different proteins or greens for variety.
  • Wrap leftovers tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or freeze for longer storage.
