Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy.
Step 5: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
Step 6: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
Step 7: Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.
Step 8: Pour the dough into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 9: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and set in the center. Let cool before cutting.
